Textured Letters

9:30 AM - 5 PM - In this fun class we will be designing letters which suit our own style (with guidance from the instructor).  Starting with a monoline (outlined) trial alphabet, students will become familiar with shapes and proportions to form letters.  Then we will move in other directions and decorate - texturize - colorize - accessorize - to our heart's content by using layers of color, masking and painting techniques and many other fun embellishments. .

Monoline Majuscules

9:30 AM - 5 PM - Writing with a variety of tools, creating two monoline hands, completing projects that are great for cards, books, and envelopes. Monoline Majuscules is excerpted from Carol's full two day Monoline-o-Mania Class. No previous experience required, beginners to advanced will benefit.

A World Within Covers

9:30 AM - 5 PM - In this class we will explore many book structures specifically related to the theme of travel, which can also be used in other special events, such as weddings, parties, family reunions, etc. You will use maps, photos, postage stamps, postcards, and fine papers to bring your trips to life as you create books with various binding methods. No previous experience required, beginners to advanced will benefit.
